When I first started having my morning quiet time I found peace for the first time in my life. I found there was a direct correlation between when I was having consistent quiet time my anxiety, fears and depression went away but when I went too long without time with God and His Word, the anxiety rushed back in. It took me a while to realize what was going on. I spent years in counseling during my 20’s to work through my fears and anxiety but nothing ever calmed my soul like my coffee dates with God! Yes, therapy is necessary to heal our mind and emotions, just as traditional medicine and doctors are necessary for our physical bodies. However, only The Great Physician can tend to our very spirit and souls. ❤️
“He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
