Treasure Hunt

December 1, 2018

I know how tough life can be & how painful loss can be, however, when you begin to truly realize how blessed you are to just have been created & given life you will be able to see treasures beneath the rubble! I mean, really ponder that! God didn’t have to create you & give you your very existence! This life alone is a blessing & if you can dig beneath the rubble to see this truth, you will see how truly blessed you really are...even during the storms of life!! And even more than that, when we look beyond this temporary life we are given here on this earth & find new life...eternal life, through Christ & His Word, that my friend is where your true treasures lie!!

“And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness— secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord...the one who calls you by name.” Isaiah 45:3

“...He himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else...God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’...” Acts 17:25b,27-28

“We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves...We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them & will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” 2 Corinthians 4:7-9,16-18

“If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” Jeremiah 29:13

“Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.” Luke 12:34

When we seek Him and find Him, we then become His treasures possession as well!! 💕😊💕

“...they will be my treasured possession.” Malachi 3:17a
