His Grace is Sufficient

This morning devotional had me reflect on how God has shown His great love for me, so I wanted to share what I wrote in hopes it would inspire someone today to truly trust God and His love for you.

”When I was a little girl, God brought me my best friend Wendy and her family into my life. I now know, He did so, in order to draw me to Himself. Her family took me to church and VBS my entire childhood life. He continually guided me all through the years. His love for me was strong enough to hold me in His hands, even when I was lost in a dark pit of despair, pain and sin. He never let me go and He never gave up on me! He will never lose me, leave me, or forsake me!!

I don’t have to be strong enough, or righteous enough because my eternity is not dependent upon my ability to cling to Him but instead, is dependent upon His ability to hold on to me with His immeasurable power, love, and Grace!

I am eternally secure in the arms of Christ!!

“And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day.

John 6:39

“I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.” John 10:28-29

“And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14

“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Hebrews 13:5b

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

2 Corinthians 12:9a

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
