Does God really care?

As hard as it is to believe sometimes, every part of Gods Will, Gods Ways and Gods Commands are for our good. God created us and He chooses to be involved in our world and lives. He doesn’t need us, we need Him. Which is why He gives us guidance through His Word.

He’s outside of “time”, looking in like our world was in a snow globe in His hands. He sees the past, present, and future in one glance. He knows how each intricate part of our lives is going to play out. He knows what’s best and unfortunately we have to go through some difficult and painful experiences to bring about the best in our lives.

When my mom died of cancer when I was 29, it rocked my faith and belief in prayer. We had prayed and prayed and prayed, yet God took her anyways. However, what I didn’t know, was her early death had the power to save souls. Many have come to place their faith and life in Christ because of the ripple effect losing her caused. We are a stubborn and sinful people, who unfortunately require trials to lead us to a loving, patient and All Powerful God. Who’s sole motivator for all He does, is Love.

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28

“…what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?” Deuteronomy 10:12
