Are You Tired?

Does this excerpt below resonate with anyone besides me? “Are you tired? Weary? What’s the cause? “Is it really the work you have been given to do or is it the striving in your soul that makes you tired?” ~Jennie Allen (Proven pg.68) I was surprised at how hard and profoundly this hit me and even caused a huge lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. It’s in those times when I feel like God just hit the nail right on the head and exposed something that I obviously need to allow Him to deal with me on on. Are you trying to do everything in your own strength and do you always feel like you fail at everything? Perfection is not what God requires, that is the lie from the devil to steal your joy. God wants our hearts and for us to surrender our life to His Will. His perfect and pleasing Will! ❤️ “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans 12:2 So rest in Him and His love for you! Choose this day to joyfully follow Him and in doing so it will lead to a more fulfilled and abundant life!! Not trial free but a lasting peace and joy in the midst of the trials. “Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep.” John 10:10-11 Seek Him First, hand over all your cares to Him and let Him guide you and comfort you along His path.
