Safe in your Daddys Arms

Secure in Your Daddy’s Arms I was reading The Parable of the Lost Sheep in Luke 15: 1-7 and it reminded me of the debate I hear often over whether or not you can lose your salvation. I’m not an expert, I’m not a religious scholar and maybe I don’t have the full answer. However, I do know from first hand experience and from the scriptures I have read, that God will never lose me! My salvation is eternally secure! If I wander too far from Him, He will always pursue me, call me and seek me until I return to Him. He will never leave me nor forsake me! In my early 30’s I wandered as far away from God as I could and sinned grievously, yet He constantly pursued and called me! He even went as far as to use one of my wild, partying, drinking buddy to invite me to church with her. Which is what finally lead me to return to Him and stop all the drinking and running around. The Joy of my Salvation returned to me but my Salvation never left me. I am His Child and He loves me and even empathizes with my weaknesses. He can do this because He came down to this lowly earth and walked in our footsteps and saw how difficult the temptation was (yet He never sinned). My Daddy God is amazing!! He loves me, His adopted daughter, so much that He will protect me and my soul...eternally! ❤️ That’s what causes me to live to please Him, to share The Good News with others and to place my trust in Him alone! “Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.” 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5b “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.” John 10:27-29 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are —yet he did not sin.” Hebrews 4:15 “The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15 “...being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6 “Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” Psalm 51:12 “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 (Faith used here is the Greek work “pistis” meaning persuasion, i.e. credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; abstractly, constancy in such profession; by extension, the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself:--assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.) Its pure belief and reliance upon not works. If you’re asking, “then why are we warned about Apostacy or falling away? Here is a good article to consider reading, pondering and praying about Apostasy/Salvation
