Blue Skies after the Storms! Hello from Houston :)

During a storm, whether it be literal, emotional or spiritual, it's hard to imagine the darkness and suffering will ever end, but it will! As difficult as it is, we must remember during the dark times what we learned in the light (good days). God is still good, even when life isn't! God is still in control, even when everything feels out of control. Anchor your heart, mind and soul to the only thing we can trust 100%...everything else is shifting sand and temporary. God never promised to keep us out of the storms, He only promised He would be with us through the storms. Tether yourself to the throne of God, so that even in the dark storm you will be eternally secure and your hope will be placed in the hands of The One who created ALL things and who works all things out for the good of those who love him! Romans 8:28

Psalm 30:5 "...Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning. 1 Peter 5:10 "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." Isaiah 41:10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 61:1-3 "...He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted... to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve... to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor."
